because they want to become effective leaders and believe they have
the basic abilities to do so or who are referred by competent mentors
who see promise in the persons they recommend.
It is important to note that regardless of comments
advocating the opposite, business generally does not "walk
the talk" of supporting the development of quality leaders.
This is because, contrary to the examples of the military and professional
sports organizations where the soldier and the line-backer are the
end products, in business, a person is only the means of delivering
the end product or service. Leadership is attuned to and valued
accordingly.
With these thoughts in mind, we have crafted our
unique programs to include classroom discussion, situational decision-making,
and follow-up development on the job that is relevant to each client's
